PLOT:
Exposition
There was a boy who fell in love w/ the girl named Teresita.
Complication
Boy is asked by his father when he want to leave the province. And his father have decided that his son will leave tomorrow.
Climax
A night before he left, he went to Teresita house to say goodbye and asked her if they can write w/ each other but then Teresita refuses.
Denouement
He left his hometown and Teresita and her family move to another place due to their land was sold.
Conclusion
They did not end up with each other.

The narrator started the story on how eager he was to graduate when he was still in high school but when he remember the people and the place that he will left behind a great, swelling unhappiness clogged his chest. Especially when he remember the girl named Teresita, she was a proud, stubborn girl who always have a fixed ideas and she was the daughter of one of his father’s tenants. On March afternoon he approached his father asking to give him some money because he want to buy something that he will give to Teresita. He went to a huge bales of cloth in the corner of the store and pick out the silk cloth with glossy printed flowers that cost him ten pesos. When he got the package he hurried went to Teresita house to give her the gift but she rejected the gift he bought for her.
After the eventful years passed it was time for Teresita and him to graduate, but after a tiring rehearsal Teresita nudged him and tell that she can’t attend the graduation program. And he accepted it and understand the felling of Teresita. And in the same week her father was ordered to vacate the place because it was sold.
One afternoon on April he was asked by his after if when he want to leave the province and then his father have abruptly decided that his son will leave the province tomorrow. He hurriedly went to the house of Teresita to say goodbye and requested her if they can write w/ each other but then that night Teresita refuses no matter how he eagerly want to write a letter w/ Teresita, she just can’t because postal stamp will cost her too much. And then he went home unhappy for he will not see Teresita again.
