The “Robinson Crusoe” and “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” have same theme are adventurous and survival. The story Protagonist Robinson and Tom all lived in the island. But I think The “Robinson Crusoe” have more than about survival. Because the Robinson lived in the island is an emergencies. At the Approach of Night, I slept in a Tree for fear of wild Creatures, but slept soundly tho' it rain'd all Night. ” (Robinson, Chapter 5). So we could saw the Robinson want to survival will hard. Robinson is wisdom and perseverance of the people. Just begin, he is desperate, but slowly, his unique personality comes out, he feels full of hope for life. Such as he own said, “Thus fear of danger is ten thousand times more terrifying than danger itself ”(Robinson, Chapter 11). So he not pessimistic and afraid all day, he start undivided attention to arrange their own life, he built a small house, do the table, small box, catch the lamb, dog, kind of wheat and rice. In this way, Robinson used his hands create their own little kingdom.

“The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” have more than about adventurous. It is children want to become Pirates and go to island, so in “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” I thank children go to island is voluntarily rather than by coercion. Such as the story...
