Strategic Plan
Every new company that is started has a mission statement and a vision statement the give direction and guidance to the company. Having a good mission statement can help communicate powerfully to the company. The vision statement is used to tell in what direction the company wants to go. Both of these statements help the company reach its goals and objectives. These statements set the operational tone for any company that wants to be successful.

For us to grow as a company we must establish a good customer base for the company. To do this we will treat each of our customers like they are family and do our best to have what they need. Second, we will have the store employees trained to answer any questions that a customer might have. Each employee will be assigned to a certain seasonal sport and will have all the knowledge needed to answer questions. For instance if an employee works in football, he or she will have the ability to answer those question even if they did not play the sport. Also the employees will be trained in other seasonal sports in case a fellow employee is tied up then they will be able to help. Our business will keep track of the new technology that is coming out in sports equipment and have that available to the consumer. Eventually we would like to open to store in Palmdale, California, but to do that we must get a loyal customer base and then like many businesses take advantage of the internet. By using the internet this will open a bigger market for us. Leagues outside of California would then be able to open equipment from us at a low cost. With the use of the internet we will be able to reach small town that are unable to come into the store to purchase equipment from us. We would hire a web design team that would help us market our internet page and would reflect the values of the business. Once we got a good foot hold on the market in California, the business would try and to expand into other states and make a name for ourselves. Also the internet will let recreational sportsmen to get low cost equipment shipped straight to them instead of walking into a store.
