Learning online is different because back in the 80’s, at my school age the teacher used to write on blackboards with a chalk and as students, we used to write them with pencils or pens in our notebooks.
Learning online is a new experience for me, as adult learning, school students, and children are now learning in the digital age using ipads, laptops, and to write no more pens or pencils, but the digital world used keyboards, mouse, touch pads and the stylus pens this gives us the opportunity to work as a team as we all come from a diverse back ground we are able to share our knowledge, ideas and views, where social constructivism supports the idea that knowledge is constructed by the learner.
Learning online gives us the option of taking online classes and studying in our own time is important, as most of us spend time working every day and not able to college full-time and we can study in our own flexible time. This is a great option for learners who already have a time commitment with family and work. Online classes mould with our schedule—log into our online course at a time that works best for us as opposed to having to attend a lecture at a specific time.
