My Life’s Story: Past to Future
As you read this paper you will get a better understanding of the kind of women I am. You will read how my family and life experiences shaped me into the person I am today.
I grew up in a small town called Louisburg. Louisburg’s population is about 5,000. Also the town is north of Raleigh, North Carolina. I have a lot of family in this town. My parents live here. I’ve lived in Louisburg almost my whole life. I’m now 34 and I got a birthday coming up on Sunday the 4th of September. I now stay in Raleigh, North Carolina.

My mom loved for me to sing too. She would cry every time I sung in church. It really touched her heart that I was doing something for the Lord. As I got older I still sung in the choir, but I wanted to do different things too. At age 11 I joined Louisburg School of Dance, which was a dance club that taught you how to do all different types of dancing. I learned to tap dance, do ballet on and off my tip toes, lyrical dancing, which was a type of dancing that you danced barefooted similar to jazz dancing, and line dancing. My dance club competed in a lot of competitions and won a lot of 1st place trophies. While in the dance club, I was also in Beta Club at school because my G.P.A. (grade point average) was above a certain average that I qualified to be a member. As I got older and entered High school I can remember being a J.V. Cheerleader, which stood for Junior Varsity Cheerleader. I was a cheerleader for 2 yrs which was exciting by being I front on people and saying cheers for the team, and people cheering along with you and chanting your name. While I high school I can remember getting all dressed up and going to the school dance with my handsome date and having fun with my friends.
But the best memory of all is me giving birth to my so Jalen on December 28th in the year of 2000.
My son Jalen is the most important person in my life, along with God, and my parents. Overall my whole family is important to me.
As I look at my life now as a adult. I graduated from Louisburg High in June the year was 1995. I went straight to college in the fall of the same year. I attended Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. I was double majored in college. My majors were Nutrition and Nursing. I finished the...
