Shakespeare’s Macbeth is a play that challenges the characters willingness to give into evil and the risks they take to acquire power. Convinced by his wife, Macbeth proceeds in completing the deed eliminating the only thing between him and the crown. Lady Macbeth undoubtedly had the intent to commit evil by killing the King, making her no different than the witches in the play.
