“The house of eyes”

What stood before me was an enormous gate, which had eroded away through time; the thin rusted iron bars were entwined and swallowed by the diseased, dried up ivy as if the roots were like witch fingers. It created a rustling noise by the chilling wind of the autumn season. I feel the mysterious place is sucking me in like a black hole filled with darkness the longer I stand out in the silent rocky pavement. The autumn leaves danced across my feet like mice while the glimmering moonlight shone upon me in front of this a distorted house.
Many news have been told about “The house of eyes”, the place where people said “once you’re a part of it there’s no turning back”. ...view middle of the document...

Such a disgusting environment in a wet humid place; seeing blood which was shaped like hands on the walls and floors that grabbed to my attention, then watching the detailed wall paper peel off bit by bit like the layers of someone’s dead dry skin. Instantly the horrid stench got to me as ended up retching. I quickly wrapped half of my face with my coat by my hand, as well as I clenched onto the bright torch in the other, knowing it was the only protection from what could be the unexpected.
“H-hello? Is anyone th-there?” I stuttered in a cowardly voice, while standing still listening to the echoes travel around the moldy house. I strolled across the uneven floorboards through the narrow hallway, the living room was the first room that caught my eye, and I looked at the picture on a piece of newspaper I cut before coming here. This is where the cruel husband sliced open his wife’s eyes with a large sharp scalpel. And you may ask why?

Thirty years ago, a family of three used to live in this house. Such peaceful once appear in this place, but one particular person changed that…
The husband was a doctor; a hard-working person; whose job took over his life style, he wasn’t able to spend time with his wife and baby. But his beautiful wife; a woman with elegance betrayed her husband because of the lack of chemistry between her and her husband. He was distraught about the news of his wife. One night, he planned to leave work early to see whether the rumor was true or not. As soon as his car pulled up on the pavement, he saw an unusual car he had not recognized took over his parking space. His heart pounded faster, filled with anger and despair. He rushed over to the door; opening it cautiously. He looked down at the floor near the door, noticed an unfamiliar pair of brown shoes. He knew something was not right but hope still lay in his heart.
The doctor turned his head up with his eyes wide open in a hasty manner, while looking down the hallway hearing a sudden giggle coming from the living room. However, it didn’t seem to be the giggle you hear from an infant...
He barged through the door with fury in the living room, as he saw his wife and another man are cuddling on the sofa “Mary!” he shouted. The wife and stranger were frightened by the husband’s entrance. She pushed the stranger away as far as she can on the sofa, pretending to act innocent. The doctor’s face grew with more rage and disappointment by the acts of lies from his wife. He couldn’t believe his eyes. His heart sank so low it felt as if it was at the bottom of the dark cliff; but at the same time his mind was about to explode like a volcano. To him, cheating is an action that is not acceptable at all. His mixed emotions got the better of him. “You are such a whore, I can’t believe you did this to me.” He scolded. “I’m sorry, beca…” the wife haven’t finish her sentence the husband cut in “Shut it, I don’t want to hear your excuse!.” He said it agitatedly.
Pulled out a scalpel from...
