In the film Jesus we follow his path through the world. Throughout the film we learn about the Messianic Prophecies, Jesus’s miracles, his death and resurrection. I believe learning and understanding this topic can help me be successful in my life. Understanding why Jesus was chosen to come to Earth, his miracles, and learning his sacrifices for us will help anyone understand the world we live in.
The Messianic Prophecies lets us see who Jesus is and what he wishes from us. We see in the film that Mary who is a virgin is chosen by the Holy Spirit to conceive Jesus. He is sent to Earth as the Messiah as stated in the Bible (Isaiah 9:6 King James Version) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Jesus’s is sent to earth to spread the ...view middle of the document...

They do not happen by the law of nature but usually by the supernatural. Jesus performs many miracles. This is one way we can see how powerful God is. When Jesus found out Lazarus was sick he wanted to go to him. When he went there Mary had told him Lazarus had died and said if Jesus had been there he would had not die. Jesus asked to be taken to where Lazarus lay. Jesus’s then performed a miracle (John11 King James Version) And when he thus spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him and let him go. In today’s society many people hope for miracles and pray for it every day. People are struggling for jobs, food and money to help them stay afloat. I see miracles happen everyday weather it is someone handing out free meals or someone getting a job. When you believe in God, miracles can happen.
The death and Resurrection of Jesus is very important to the Christianity Worldview. It shows us that God is very powerful and loving. God made the ultimate sacrifice by having Jesus, his only son, die for our sin. The resurrection also shows us how powerful God is by resurrecting Jesus from the grave. This shows us how God forgives us when we sin and allows us to seek redemption so we may return to him. God has the power to create life and also resurrect life after death. I believe this gives comfort to people knowing the God forgives. It helps individuals not be afraid of God but know that he does love everyone and wants to help save them. I believe everyone should be able to ask for redemption and I also believe everyone can change their ways. I am not a perfect person and I have acknowledged the wrong I have done in the past. I believe living the way God has intended me to help me become the person I am today.
The film Jesus is a very powerful and informative story. It helped me understand how he was chosen as the messiah, the miracles he performs are acts of God and the resurrection showed me how much God love us. Understanding these concepts helps us know how and why we are God’s children. I believe understanding Jesus’s story allows to see the sacrifice made for us which can motivate us to be successful in life.
