The Lord of the Rings
The Lord of the Rings is a fantastic film! I can’t help myself watching it again and again.
The film is around a magical ring called the One Ring. It was lost by its maker, Dark Lord Sauron, and was given to a Hobbit boy named Frodo. If Dark Lord found the Ring, he would have the power of enslaving the world. Fighters from all nations (hobbits, elves and dwarves) formed the Fellowship of the Ring. Their aim was to throw the Ring into the magma of Mount of Doom because it was the only way to destroy it. On the way to Mordo, Dark Lord’s Orcs armies attacked them, but the fellowship of the Ring was stronger. Finally, they succeeded in destroying the ring. People were ...view middle of the document...
It’s Frodo who said “I will take it! I will take it! I will take the ring to Mordor!” although his voice is week, but he shouldered the responsibility of saving the world. I was deeply moved by him. I also learnt that if there is courage, anything could be done.
Another impressive character is Gandalf. When I first saw him, I thought he was quite similar to Dumbledore (a character in Harry Potter) with his long white bear and kind, thoughtful eyes. He is the soul of the team. He also prodded the whole team to consist on the adventure and never give up fighting with wickedness. I think he was the most important leader of the fellowship. He was also modest and friendly .Although he had very strong power, he seldom showed up. To the Hobbits, he was just an old magician who could blow beautiful smock rings.
Next come Aragorn. He was the son of king Arathorn and He joined the fellowship of the ring. After the ring had been destroyed, he reunited the kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor. Aragorn is a virile fighter, although he was a normal man, he killed lots of strong Orcs. Argorn is great leader who had strong appeal. He made the proud Eifs and People from the West fight with him against the Dark Lord. Aragorn is also good at self reflecting. He had shirked his duty of being a king but finally, he shouldered his responsibility. I think he must be a good king.
