This form helps us evaluate each other as we, the managers, run our shifts to promote business in a positive way. It also helps us to take the corrective actions needed to improve in any of the QSC&R areas that may need improvement.
Organizing & Planning
Planning involves a series of steps and tasks that define a course of action to keep a business stable while moving forward (Board, 2011). Managers and business owners need effective planning set in stone to make sure business operations are smooth and are happening without a hitch. At my workplace, we have Dynamic Positioning Guides that we utilize to put the right people in the right stations so the business can operate in fast but accurate way. We all know the people that work best in certain areas so we plan ahead before our shifts so we know before we get there what the plan for the day is. Organizing involves allocating and arranging the resources needed to implement or operationalize planning (Board, 2011). Organizing is more than having things in a certain order so that they can be found. It also entails that your business is organized so that when faced with adversity, high demand of something or if the owner is not there, the business will stay afloat and not fall under the pressure. When plans are in place and the business is properly organized, sells of products, gaining clientele and retaining clientele is not such a hard task to complete.
