Importance of art in the life of people
Art is a vehicle with expression and communication of emotions and ideas in conjunction. The types of art are: fine art, performing art and others. Fine art is a kind of visual art considered to have been created primarily for aesthetic purposes and judged by its beauty and meaningfulness, especially painting, sculpture, drawing, watercolour, graphic and architecture. Conversely, performing art uses the artist’s body, face, and presence as a medium. The latter include; dance, drama, music, opera, theatre, magic, spoken word, circus arts and many such performed art.

It requires the manipulation and coordination of material and programmatic elements which include cost, construction limitations and technology in order to achieve an end which is usually functional, economical and often artistic. Historically, civilisations are often identified with the surviving architectural achievements. This means that without a good plan, anything disaster can happen and reconstruction needs to be done, meaning economical problem can be arising. There is a symbolic of culture in architecture, for e.g. “The Taj Mahal” in India. Architecture is therefore important as it pleases the artistic tastes.
Music – performing art
It is the arrangement of sounds. There is no noise in music, only sounds are present. It produces a pleasing effect and pleasing music is harmonious. To many people, in many culture, music is a vital part in there way of life, for example some cultures have special musical instruments played only by priest on important occasion. Otherwise music expresses all types of feelings, emotions and fears. Besides, music is used to broaden skills by increasing our concentration and inspires activity. That is why many offices and factories provide background music for their own satisfaction and for social occasion. So music is one which serves to entertain and relax.
