Dear Mr. Ciccarelli:

This letter is to address certain issues in the Huntington area that are becoming more significant in terms of crime. Sincerely,
David Joe

Introduction
Huntington, WV is a beautiful city with a lot of history. Any one from this area would agree that this city has been an amazing location to call home. Citizens who are from Huntington, WV hold this city near and dear to their heart and are prideful of where they call home. Recently, with the heightened spike of crime, a positive attitude towards Huntington is becoming harder to come across. College students are hesitant of going to bars; while plenty of citizens are afraid to simply walk to their car at night, all in fear of getting shot. The heightened crime rate deters outsiders whom are looking for a location to raise a wholesome family, due to lack of safety and assurance. This becomes a vicious cycle when the only people relocating in the city are drug runners from Detroit. These people are ruining our city and causing many other citizens to look elsewhere to raise their family. The Huntington Police Force needs to start taking action before it is too late. We need to put an end to the terror and begin to rebuild the place that we call home.
Crime is a problem in every city across the country. Though it is impossible to completely eliminate all crime, there are steps that can be taken to reduce the...
