Der kom sociallovgivninger for at hjælp dem, som havde de værste sygdomme. De indførte også arbejdspolitik for at give bedre konkurrence vilkår.

6) Forklar Keynes økonomiske politik?
- At staten i perioder med arbejdsløshed og lav vækst skulle give flere penge ud, end den krævede i skat for at øge efterspørgselen. I tider med stor efterspørgselen og lav arbejdsløshed skulle staten holde igen ved at lave overskud på statens regnskab, og derved trække penge ud af samfundet og dæmpe efterspørgselen.

7) Hvordan håndterede man krisen i Danmark og hvem stod bag forliget?
- Gjorde de samme ting, som i USA. Forlig mellem landstinget og folketinget. Kanslergade forliget.
8) Hvorfor havde hverken kommunismen eller fascismen gennemslagskraft i Danmark og USA?
