This is a disease that could be eliminated by exercising and avoiding unhealthy foods. “Recent studies have shown that physical activity can reduce the risk of colon cancer by as much as 50 percent. Women especially must make sure that they are consistently in taking enough calcium to reduce their chances of developing Osteoporosis, a condition in which bones lose their mineral density. During moderate exercise immune cells circulate through the body more quickly and are better able to kill bacteria and viruses. After exercise ends, the immune system generally returns to normal within a few hours, but consistent, regular exercise seems to make these changes a bit more long-lasting” (Quinn, 2011).
The importance of exercise is extremely important in living a fit and healthy life. With exercise helping both physically and mentally for the human body it should be a significant priority in every person’s life.
