Environment[The environment in which the person exists is an important influence on his or her health and well-being. Which can include cultural, social, spiritual and economic influences on the individual. One of the most influential aspects of the environment is the health care a person has access to. For example, the health of someone who has regular health care visits has a better chance of catching any serious conditions. For those who do not have easy access to health care may not catch a serious condition early enough, which can lead to a poor prognosis for that individual. Environment also includes the social support a person receives and the place where they are healing, such as the hospital, home, skilled nursing facility or a rehabilitation facility. A comfortable environment and proper care can influence the speed of an individual's recovery. ] |
Nursing[Nursing refers to the process of caring for the health of human beings as well as assisting patients in meeting their needs, as well as teaching them the basics of caring for themselves. Nursing also includes leadership, decision making, teamwork, critical thinking, ethical and legal training.
