Ideals can be described as some sort of principles, rules or values that we set for ourselves to obey and we live by it in our daily life to make ourselves feel better as an ethical individual. Ideals come in a wide variety, for example honesty, compassion, courage, caring, friendship or loyalty. However, due to the fact that each and every of us places different weight on different aspects of life, therefore that is why different people holds different ideals as the most important one for their daily practice. We should not judge people who pursues a different ideal than ours, we should respect others’ freedom of choice.

Furthermore, it is inevitable for us to face difficulties or hardships in life be it big problems like getting involved in offences for mixing with the negative peers or small problems such as losing control over your healthy eating plan. In times like these, we need someone to care for us, to be able to put themselves in our shoes and not to judge or criticize us. Having a person who is caring by your side that you can talk to at times of difficulties can somehow prevent you from feeling isolated and it can also ease your hard feelings. It has been said, “A problem shared is a problem halved”.
Extracted from www.thestar.com.my, I have found a news in which I can highlight the virtue of caring in it. It was reported that a Malaysian couple has a 17-month old son, Khairil Mikhail suffer blindness due to his left eye which is not functioning while his right eye was impaired. Every parent hopes to offer the best that they have to ensure the quality of their child’s life. It was not an exception for this Malaysian couple, namely Yus Nurlina Mohd Yusuf and Khairul Syafiq Azmi, they expressed that they are willing to sacrifice one of their eye each just so that their beloved son can gain his vision.
