I went to College in the year 2003 to make myself familiar to the education system of this country. It took me four years to get familiar. My inclination since my childhood was towards helping disable and elderly persons. It gives me a lot of internal happiness and satisfaction helping them. Ultimately I decided to choose Nursing as my career. I knew that I have to struggle a lot to achieve my goal, which will not be easy.
I did my LVN in the year 2008, taking student loan. I had to repay the loan therefore besides my studies; I had to go find a job and study too, which is not an easy job. I got a job as LVN but I was not satisfied with my achievements. So I went back to school for further education, continuing my job. I did prerequisites for RN program in the year 2009 and got admission in LVN to RN bridge program in the beginning of 2010. I finished the program with GPA of 3.0 in the same year.
Now at this stage I have come to know that my goal keeps changing. After doing my RN, I have developed a passionate for higher studies. I want to go for higher studies in my related field. This goal is very important to me because of the impact it will have on my family, work and personal life. There is a say that nothing is impossible in this world if you have a strong will to achieve it. I strongly believe in that and I am sure I can achieve my goal, as I have strong will to achieve that.
