Business planning requires strategic planning that will help the organization become successful. Strategic elements map out the direction of business planning mode (Pearce & Robinson 2009). An alignment between strategic direction and business activities are determining factors of a business organization success or failure. I have selected a Christian Internet/Cafe organization to develop as a strategic plan. This plan will include my mission and vision guiding principles.

Marketers' interest in the younger consumers has a twofold objective. First, the young consumers are increasingly proving themselves as a lucrative target market. Their commercial value is partially based on beliefs that their behavior and attitudes predict future changes in social and cultural values of a society (Boush, 1989: Seller, 1989 & Windham, 1995).
Guiding Principles
The guiding principles will align the strategic direction and business activities. The Internet/Café guiding principles are as follows:
Social Responsibility: Social responsibility means taking a responsible attitude, going beyond the minimum legal requirements and following straightforward principles that apply whatever the size of a company. By contributing in the welfare and developmental activities for society, it is possible for the organization to spread a positive word of mouth (Lancaster & Reynolds, 2005). By developing a business practice of being environmentally conscience will allow the Internet/Café organization to act socially responsible and sustain an image of having a responsible behavior.

Culture: Company culture is important because it can make or break your company. Companies with an adaptive culture that is aligned to their business goals routinely outperform their competitors. Some studies report the difference at 200% or more. To achieve results like this for your organization, you have to figure out what your culture is, decide what it should be, and move everyone toward the desired culture (Reh, 2009). Internally the environment of an organization can be diversified. Each employee will bring their own values and practices which can establish a company. As the environment in which the company operates (the laws, regulations, business climate, etc.) changes, the company culture will also change.

Ethical Behavior: Business ethics must have a fundamental role in all organizations. When an organization practices ethical behavior it can effectively manage the competition and handle discrepancies in a positive manner. The Internet/Café it will conduct all business matters in an ethical manner. It is important for consumers to be confident that when any issues develop with customers or employees, the company will handle the situation by using the ethical code of conduct established.

Analyze Strategic Direction

The vision and mission statement should mirror each other. Once the companies establish the strategic direction, it is imperative that they all are executed. When the leader of a company establishes values for the organization he or she must insist that they are followed by employees at all times to be successful.
