Experience Of Write Essay

622 words - 3 pages

I am doing it now because finally I have enough experience working, I am more mature, and I have saved enough money.
My goal in this essay is to help you understand why I am in Strayer University of Washington, DC to do my MBA. Before I explain my reasons, maybe I should explain why I am doing this now. Why now and why not before? I am doing it now because finally I have enough experience working, I am more mature, and I have saved enough money.
The first reason that I want to do MBA in Washington, DC is move up in my career. I have not decided if I will be a manager or higher level position or if I want to start my business when I go back to Vietnam. But all of those need higher education. For example, at my most recent job as a sales manager for the bank, I ...view middle of the document...

I think most people could imagine the difference that doubling your salary would mean in a country like Vietnam.
The second reason that I want to do MBA in Washington, DC is to make more money when I am back in Vietnam. Why do I want to make more money? I want to enjoy life more than right now. I am the middle of five children, but only my brother and I went to college. That means that he and I will have to take care of everyone else in the family—especially my parents because they are already retired. I worry that in the next few years their medical costs will be high and Vietnam does not have government medical coverage for older people like America does. My younger sister and I were living in small studio apartment in Vietnam, but I would like to own a big house where I could have my parents live with me. I would also like to travel around the world but the cost will be so expensive that I could not afford it. If I could make more money I could also donate more to charity.
The third reason that I want to do MBA in Washington, DC is to learn new experiences. Because Vietnam is a poor country, I want to go to America to receive an MBA and see how the world works. Then later I can go back to Vietnam and see things with different eyes. My first trip out of Asia was this summer when I went to Europe. I saw and experienced so many new things there and I know that I will have many more while I am in DC. The USA is the highest country in the world and everyone wants to come here to learn good things from them. In Vietnam, most people have never travelled even to a different city. So they do not know any other way to do things. I know I will learn many new things that I can use to help others in Vietnam.
In conclusion, I hope that I had given you views of some of mine though and desire for to going back university.
