Is it ones right to end his life when in suffering? Do you have to be suffering to decide that?
Euthanasia is the practice of intentionally ending a life in order to relieve pain and suffering. There are currently laws put on place in most of the states to make taking your own life illegal. “According to the National Health Services (NHS), UK, it is illegal to help somebody kill themselves, regardless of circumstances.” Some people believe that this impedes their rights. One of the main side effect issues is whether or not the government itself should be able to intervene so much. Should there even be a law to imprison someone if they fail at taking their own life? Should someone’s decision to no longer want to live continue to provide supplement to the private industries of prisons who profit from more inmates? According to the constitution we have the right to seek our happiness, and if that indeed is to no longer feel or exist, I believe it is no one else’s right to give them permission or deny it.
