• A confidence level of 95% and a degree of error of 5% in the formula of the sample.
Applying the formula of the sample:
n = (Z ² PQN) / (Ne ² + Z ² pq)
• Level of confidence (Z) = 1.96
• Error (e) = 0.05
• Population (N) = 80 511
• Probability of occurrence (P) = 0.5
• Probability of occurrence (Q) = 0.5
n = ((196) ² (0.5) (0.5) (80511)) / ((80511) (0.05) ² + (196) ² (0.5) (0.5))
n = ((3.84) (0.25) (80511)) / ((80511) (0.0025) + (3.84) (0.25))
n = 77322.76 / 201.27 + 0.96
