Recycle is a process where waste materials can be transform into new material that can be useable by undergo some processes. We need to come out with ideas that are beneficial to us now and for the future. The first step in applying recycling habit is at home, I’d separate all the trash according to their category. 1.2 Open burning
Smoke is hazardous and harmful that could affect our wellbeing. If I witness any open smoldering activities, I will immediately report to the authorities so that they can take necessary legal action under the Regulation to stop further burning. Additionally, many items that are blazed in a trash pile or burn barrel can often be reuse. I’ll try to avoid buying disposable and brand new items and purchase items that are durable, can be energized, repaired, or refilled instead. Furthermore, I’ll install a backyard compost and participate in my community’s organics collection program. Instead of burning my kitchen and yard waste, I’ll send it there to make it easier to remove this waste without burning it.
1.3 Water Conservation
Water is an important source to the earth. Without water, the earth would have no life. I’d say no to bathtime and take shower instead because bath will consumes a lot of water usage. Secondly, I’d close the tap while brushing my teeth or while washing hair, it could spare water up to 150 gallons a month. As for the swimming pool at my house, I’d use a pool cover to help keep my pool clean and prevent water loss throught evaporation. Thusly, pool cleaning work could be minimized to once a week instead of thrice a week.
