Computer gaming is one of the most favorite hobbies and pastime of the teenagers aging from 13-19 nowadays aside from watching television and playing sports, until the Valve Corporation released DOTA2 based from the game Warcraft III: Frozen Throne custom map DOTA (DEFENSE OF THE ANCIENTS). The invasion of DOTA2 in the teenagers is very massive, that millions of them all over the world are getting involved ito it. Many other people are encouraged and influenced to play this strategy game that led to their addiction.

These factors are visually attracting the teenagers that push them to play DOTA2.
Also it teaches some of the teenagers how to be wise in using money for business etc., because the game itself composed of the said custom items that can either buy or sell, don’t underestimate the price of the said items, because the most expensive item on the game costs $38,000 and it’s called Legacy Ethereal Flames Wardog, a courier-type item that is just used for delivering items on their heroes. The bad factor of this game for the teenagers is that it provokes them to stay up-late, and to gamble, it’s not avoidable for them to gamble if they are good at it, just like what other players do.
Scope and Delimitation
This paper only establishes and understanding about why teenagers aging from 13-19 chose to play DOTA2 instead of other games. It will tackle the origin and background of DOTA2 and simply present its gameplay. Also this paper will give you and idea how DOTA2 exist, it also give the readers the bad effects of the game to the youth.
