In everyday life we are challenged in making sound decision, decision that will last for a life time. Folk often wonder after making a decision if it was the right choice, will it affect the people around me, was this a good choice for my family, and will the decision affect them. Stages of decision making that the book speaks of are “identify and diagnose the problem, generate alternative solutions, evaluate alternatives, make the choice, implement the decision, and evaluate the decision” (Bateman & Snell, 2011, p 89).
The steps that I followed when making my decision were, am I pleased with the environment that I work in, the distance of walking daily to and from the parking garage to the Governmental building, how does this affect my health during rainy days, am I doing the best work I can do, do I work effective with my coworkers, and what job offer the best benefit package. Some of the decision making process that I used was similar to that in the text chapter three.
Before making the final decision I debated, there are problems on jobs some are large problems, and some are smaller problems. Most problems can be solved if each party work to solve the problems. From the research that I done before leaving one job going to another was very beneficial in my decision- making process.

Something never change regardless of who is in charge because of the environment in the Register of Voters office my best decision was to leave for better working condition. Because of the pros and cons along with the research that was done the decision that was made was the best one for many of reason.
Whenever making a decision, take your time if time is permitted, make a list of do’s, likes, dislikes, and make sure that you are not pressured into making a decision that will affect you for a life time.
“Once you have considered the possible consequences of your options, it is time to make your decision” (Bateman & Snell, 2011, p 92)
