What is a worldview?
A worldview is one’s perception and analysis of the world that surrounds them. Essentially, worldview is a person’s point of view and how they navigate through their everyday life. A worldview is created on a daily basis while going through and encountering life. It consists of morals, thoughts, feelings and the beliefs of the individual. (WC:55)
The Question of Origin – (How did life begin? How did mankind come into existence?)
The Christian worldview about the origin life and how we all came about is that it all began with the hand of God. This worldview comes from the given facts from within the Bible. In fact, the first chapter of the Bible ...view middle of the document...
We were made to follow his commandments. Not only that, but to obey him, and to live through him (New King James Version, Ecclesiastes 12:13). Our purpose though, does not stop there. God also intended for us as His children to have and to yearn for a intimate relationship with him, and to walk with him throughout our everyday lives (New King James Version, Genesis 2:3) Lastly, it is said throughout His Word that we should dedicate our lives to serving him and do things for and through Him while we have our time on earth.

The Bible says many things about what is right and wrong. Not only that, but we are given specific guidelines about how we should live throughout our everyday lives. The Ten Commandments are our God given rules in which he wants us to follow. God also tells us that he is the ultimate authority over our lives and that there is no other man to listen to but Him and only Him (New King James Version, Romans 13:1-7) God has given us rules to live by and it is our job as His people to follow them.
The Question of Destiny – (Is there life after death? What will happen to me when I die?)
The Christian Worldview about destiny and life after death is the most important. How we choose to live our lives and follow God determines what will become of us after our time on earth. The only life after death there is, is either in Heaven or in Hell. God tells us that if we follow Him and live our lives for Him that we will spend eternity with Him in His kingdom (New King James Version, John 5:24)....
