Book report – Angelfall

The books is about a seventeen year old girl named Penryn. She is living with her mother and little sister, Paige. They are living in a difficult setting, because they're living in a post-apocalyptic world. Though, the apocalypse is kind of still on-going. Just six weeks ago, the angels attacked and demolished the modern world.
One night, Penryn, her mother and sister are on the move. They come across a pack of angels. The angels fight, it's everyone against one angel. They cut off the wings of the angel, and after that they spot ...view middle of the document...
A group of people had captivated Raffe. Penryn went to rescue him, she sneaked in but the rescue didn't go very far before she got noticed. The people who held them captivated were called “the resistance group”. The leader of the group, Obi, told them that their goal was to fight back the angels for what they had done to the earth. They were 100% anti-angels. Penryn knew then that she and Raffe had to get out of there very quickly. If they saw Raffe shirtless they would see his wounds where his wings once were, and they would know that he is an angel. And then Penryn wouldn't have anyone to show her the way to the aerie.
They made an attempt to escape, and they succeeded. Once they were out, they made their way to the financial district of San Francisco, where the aerie was. And when they had made their way in to the aerie, all the fun started...
We have the main character, Penryn. She is seventeen years old, and quite funny. She isn't very impulsive, because she is smart and thinks before she act. And also, she is for the most parts able to take care of herself. She is a very kick-ass character too.
Then we have Raffe, he is an angel, we don't know much about him as a person. He is a man of few words, but he does have humor, though it's more sarcastic humor. He is not very nice to Penryn, because he is trying to push her away. The angels are not allowed to be together with “The daughter of men”. So pushing her away is the only option when he is in fact, falling for her.
Another character we have is Penryn's mom, she is an interesting character, kind of...
