One who wins must tell the story. Everyone who has won wars, or accomplishes mission, etc. always seems to tell the story. In a way where the teller most likely did not finish telling the truth about the story and or lied about their way on the journey. This is where the quote by Anatole France helps you understand the quote.” We have never heard of the devil’s side of the story. God wrote the entire book”.

First of all, after looking at the quotation you can clearly say the meaning of the quote is winner’s get to tell the story and losers get to hear the winner’s side of the story. The first ...view middle of the document...

The people were afraid America would look at the soldiers in a different way. The army wants us to think that the U.S. soldiers are decent people but actually not. This is why certain countries don’t like the U.S. The recruiters don’t really tell you how messed up the U.S. soldiers are after coming from war. All they want is enough people to fight

The final example of this quote is Moses and the Red Sea, as you may know the story from the bible. In the bible you only heard Moses side of the story since he was a follower of God. You will never know the Pharaoh side of the story (Maybe only in heaven). Furthermore you will never know if Moses made a mistake during his mission since he accomplished his mission by freeing the slaves and God told people what to write about Moses and his journey. For all we know the writers probably made up lies just to make him look good. For example how Martin Luther found out the churches were making up lies about the indulgences. Even back in days when Jesus was born the world still sinned like today. I am pretty sure Moses was not perfect and people lied about him just to make him look like a great leader. Or probably the writes did not write some of his things he regretted doing during his mission and did not write it in the story. This would make him look bad.
Just remember winners tell the story. We may never know the truth to nothing in most of history humans accomplished. Just as the quote by Anatole France said” We have never heard of the devil’s side of the story. God wrote the entire book”.
